Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Scientist, Data Science to design, develop, evaluate, and deploy AI and generative AI systems that accelerate workflows across Therapeutics Development & Supply. This hands-on individual contributor works across Product Development, Manufacturing, Clinical Supply Chain, and Quality teams to deliver AI-driven automation and agentic workflows.

The role requires strong Python proficiency, experience with LLMs, and knowledge of pharma development (CMC).

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
1–3 years of hands‑on AI/ML/NLP solution development experience.
Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical Product Development (CMC) and related processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy AI solutions for documentation, knowledge retrieval, and evidence synthesis in TDS.
Build components of agentic AI workflows coordinating models, tools, data, and human review.
Apply established DDSAI architectures and governance standards to deliver reusable AI capabilities.
Collaborate with regulatory, quality, and scientific teams to translate needs into AI requirements.
