Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior AI Architect, MLOps/DevOps/Cloud Engineering to define productionization, deployment, and operation of AI across Wind Engineering.

You will lead reference architectures, CI/CD pipelines, model lifecycle, observability, and security controls, partnering with Digital/IT and platform teams to ensure scalable and maintainable AI solutions with reusable components and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions in complex environments.
• Experience defining technical standards, reference architectures, and design practices across a portfolio of AI solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems in production and enterprise data platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, MLflow, Terraform, Airflow/Kubeflow).
• Strong collaboration with engineering leaders, Digital/IT, platform teams, and governance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define MLOps, DevOps, and Cloud Architecture for Wind Engineering AI across cloud, edge, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Design standardized CI/CD and continuous training pipelines with automated build, test, validation, security checks, deployment, and rollback.
• Establish model lifecycle management, versioning, provenance, and governance for production AI.
• Build observability and reliability practices including monitoring, alerts, and incident response for AI services.
• Embed security, governance, and auditability by design into AI platforms and deployments.
• Lead technical transfer to GE Vernova ownership with maintainable code, documentation, and support ownership.
• Provide portfolio architecture reviews and escalate production risks early.
• Mentor AI Architects and engineers in cloud, MLOps, and production-readiness practices.
