Job summary

Mirantis is hiring a Senior AI Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer to lead technical operations for large-scale AI infrastructure powered by NVIDIA GPUs, Kubernetes, and advanced networking. You will guide reliability practices and drive automation initiatives across production environments.

You will mentor engineers, shape operational standards, and serve as a trusted advisor during major incidents and platform evolutions, including AI-powered services via k0rdent AI.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure operations, platform operations, SRE, or related roles.
• Expert-level Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong networking, including complex performance and reliability issues.
• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Experience leading technical investigations and incident management.
• Observability and monitoring practices for reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and resolutions of complex incidents.
• Senior escalation point during critical events.
• Support NVIDIA GPU infrastructure and high-performance networking.
• Troubleshoot Linux, Kubernetes, networking, storage, and hardware issues.
• Analyze platform performance, capacity, stability and reliability trends.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive long-term corrective actions.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge through docs and reviews.
• Develop operational standards, runbooks and best practices.
