Job summary

Wizeline in Barcelona seeks a senior software engineer to design and deliver scalable translation platforms using Java and Spring Boot. You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven pipelines with Kafka, enabling AI-powered translation workflows across enterprise content systems.

You will collaborate with AI/LLM providers, maintain production systems, and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and documentation while supporting international expansion and multilingual content capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on cloud development, preferably on GCP.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Experience with LLM/AI-powered apps in production.
• Experience with ML/NLP or multilingual content tech.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile.
• Experience integrating with enterprise APIs and third-party services.
• Able to troubleshoot production issues and monitor systems.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities
