Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Madrid/Barcelona to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI services and scalable APIs across cloud environments.

You will evaluate models and frameworks, contribute to PoCs, and drive end-to-end AI project lifecycles from prototyping to deployment, while continuously learning and applying new AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Python development.
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI solutions.
• Practical experience developing or implementing RAG-based applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional level of English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Build and integrate AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Develop scalable services and APIs to support AI use cases.
• Participate in the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from prototyping to production deployment.
• Evaluate new models, frameworks, and AI technologies.
• Contribute to PoCs and innovation initiatives.
• Benchmark AI models and assess solution performance, cost, and scalability.
• Explore emerging trends in Agentic AI and Generative AI.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, databases, and business processes.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and cloud specialists.
• Support deployment and monitoring activities across cloud environments.
