Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Senior Product Software Engineer (AI Specialist) to own software solutions from discovery through production. You will translate customer and business needs into secure, scalable software products, and coordinate with product, design, architecture, operations, security, and business stakeholders.

You will apply AI-assisted development while maintaining accountability for quality, security, and operational readiness, and mentor others while strengthening team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 4-6 years of product software engineering experience.
• Ability to own end-to-end software delivery from discovery to production.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions from discovery through production and translate requirements into outcomes.
• Analyze ambiguous requirements, clarify objectives, and determine solution strategies.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software using AI-assisted approaches.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering while ensuring architecture, security, and readiness.
• Document requirements, design approaches, acceptance criteria, and risks.
• Define testing and validation approaches based on risk and impact.
• Provide technical guidance through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot production and cross-component issues and implement fixes.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, operations, and security.
