Job summary

Intellias is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated UI, API, and E2E tests, leveraging Playwright in a remote-from-Spain setup.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD, mentor teams, and act as the bridge between the central QA group and AI Pods, ensuring releases meet quality standards and AI-generated outputs are verified.

This role emphasizes AI-assisted QA practices, reusable AI skills, and Jira integrations to maintain robust test coverage across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA and test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright.
• Proficient in UI, API and E2E automation, CI/CD, Git, test reporting and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience applying GenAI/LLMs to QA workflows.
• Experience building AI-powered tools, agents, or reusable skills for automation.
• Knowledge of MCP and API-based integrations with Jira.
• Ability to evaluate and validate AI-generated testing outputs against QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and automated UI, API, and E2E tests.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage and tooling.
• Act as the quality engineering interface between the central QA team and AI Pods, aligning testing approaches.
• Ensure AI testing outputs are reviewed for coverage, reliability, and gaps.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities around the test automation framework for authoring, execution, and analysis.
• Develop reusable AI skills/agents for QA workflows and integrate with engineering and test-management systems.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and support release readiness.
• Mentor team members and promote modern automation and AI-assisted QA practices.

• Build AI-enabled capabilities around the test automation framework for test authoring, maintenance, execution, and failure analysis.
• Develop reusable AI skills/agents for QA workflows and integrate them with engineering and test-management systems using MCP/APIs.
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot failures, and support release readiness.
• Mentor team members and promote modern automation and AI-assisted QA practices.
