Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Statistical Programmer in Barcelona to develop process methodology for the statistics department and to plan and coordinate integrated programming solutions for complex studies.

You will provide technical leadership, program and validate analysis databases, and ensure CDISC ADaM standards are met while collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, programming and clinical drug development.
• Advanced knowledge of SAS (Base SAS, SAS Graph, SAS Macro Language) and CDISC ADaM.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate programming for complex studies: coding, testing and documenting statistical programs.
• Program and integrate databases from multiple studies or sources.
• Develop and coordinate programming documentation and specifications for complex studies.
• Provide advanced technical expertise and leadership to teams and clients.
• Develop, implement and validate new process technologies and applications.
• Fulfill project responsibilities at a team lead level for single studies or groups.
• Manage scope, budget and resource forecasts; provide revenue forecasts for studies.
• Provide training and guidance to lower level staff.
