Achievers Network seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage complex accounting records, prepare financial statements, and support month-end close. You will provide training to junior staff, ensure GAAP compliance, coordinate reconciliations, and drive process improvements across the accounting function while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required; Masters or other certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of industry or public accounting related experience; Banking or accounting related experience required.
• Proficient in advanced spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and understand Bancorp systems such as Frontier, Mobius, Raft, Business Objects & TM1.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately maintains complex accounting records and performs all related accounting functions.
• Oversees preparation of daily entries and monitoring of accounts; maintains account balances.
• Prepares complex accounting journal entries and monthly financial statements.
• Maintains current accounting policies and practices.
• Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Reconciliation and resolution of outages from complex accounts.
• Responsible for assisting in performing complex special accounting projects.
• Optimizing the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Continuous Improvement: searches for process improvements and automates where possible.
• Leverages technology to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Identifies opportunities to improve accounting processes and participates in new system integration.
• Coordinates month end accounting activities with other departments.
