Impress, a leading global orthodontics tech company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team in Barcelona. You will manage statutory and tax accounting for the designated area, perform journal entries, reconciliations and timely reporting within a fast‑growing, international environment.

We value 3+ years of accounting experience, German GAAP exposure, a degree in accounting, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as an Accountant.
• German GAAP experience preferred.
• Experience in a large-scale global startup or Big 4 audit is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Handle statutory accounting and tax accounting for the designated area.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting).
• Prepare information for filing monthly, quarterly and yearly taxes and other filings.
• Liaise with business partners; explain accounting procedures.
• Record, create and distribute invoices for monthly fees and royalties; manage A/R balances.
• Drive Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable best practices.
• Support implementation and improvement of processes and policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and ERP/Finance system integration.
• Participate in ad hoc analytics and projects.
• Act as senior SME in accounting matters.
