Formación

Cognizant is hiring a Senior Account Manager to form an integral part of the continued rapid growth of Cognizant’s Spanish Sales team, expanding our global service portfolio from Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing services for large accounts in the Retail & Consumer Goods in Spain and the Iberia region. The role will involve daily exposure to our clients and Cognizant senior management, reporting into the Client Partner in Madrid Office. Located either in Barcelona or in Madrid, this role offers hybrid work model and opportunities to thrive and grow within our Sales Team.

Client Relationship Managers are key contributors to commercial side of Cognizant IT and Consulting Business. CRM will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. They act as business owners for assigned accounts, leading the day-to-day activities and P&L of these accounts. The CRM works with delivery teams to enhance backlog, optimizing the resource mix and navigating scope changes to ensure client expectations are met. They work towards establishing a positive client experience by conducting client meetings. A CRM's shared measures are margin, revenue, client satisfaction & employee retention.

What are you looking for?
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key clients in the Retail & CG sector

  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and be responsible for a 10+ m€ portfolio

  • Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our IT solutions according to client needs and objectives.

  • Client Advocacy: Act as the voice of the client within the company ensuring their needs and feedback are communicated and addressed.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on account performance including key metrics and client satisfaction.

  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively.

  • Consumer Goods & Retail Market Insights in Spain, Portugal & Italy: Stay informed about industry trends and developments through our partnership with Hyperscalers, specific trainings and success stories from other geos

  • Drive RFPs / proactive bids with regards to renewals, extensions, and expansion

  • Opportunities to thrive and be recognized by your commercial performance

What are we looking for?
  • 8 + years of experience in a client facing role from previous IT Professional services firms / offshore outsourcing industry.

  • Strong focus on Retail segment and Consumer Goods, good understanding of main business processes : Sales and Marketing & Logistics business area

  • Aptitude to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C-Suite

  • Proactive mindset, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and in English

  • Ability to build multi-tower offers : SAP, CRM, Data, IA etc

Preferred Experience
  • MS or MBA degree

  • Experience working with multi-geo teams and offshore

  • Detail oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments.

  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with the skills to identify strategic solutions to business problems that have enterprise-wide implications.

  • Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments and technical and non-technical audiences
