Job summary

Allianz Services is expanding its Allianz Security Operations Center (ASOC) and seeking an Operational Lead to drive 24/7 threat and incident management. You will lead a multinational team, shape processes, and coordinate with global stakeholders to protect personnel and assets.

The role requires a Master’s in security management (or equivalent) and 8+ years in security operations, with strong English and German skills a plus. A hybrid model with international travel is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in security management, emergency management, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in physical security operations, incident and crisis management; leadership of regional/global teams.
• Proven leadership in 24/7 security operations centers or equivalent environments.
• Strong project management, able to prioritize and deliver under pressure.
• Knowledge of incident management, travel security, emergency response, and crisis management frameworks.
• Experience with security technologies: mass notification, access control, incident management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee threat and incident management across hubs to guide action.
• Develop, manage and mentor a team of operational officers across multiple hubs.
• Improve ASOC processes, playbooks, escalation thresholds, and KPIs.
• Manage day-to-day ASOC operations: shift scheduling, triage, escalation, reporting.
• Lead response to threats/incidents and coordinate crisis response with the crisis team.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across global teams and functions.
• Ensure security systems/tools are available and fit for purpose.
• Provide updates and decision-support input to senior leadership.
