Job summary

AMFE Group is seeking an experienced Travelling Personal Chef to join a globally connected team. This self-employed, fully remote role requires expertise in managing kitchen operations for high-budget travel environments, with a specialty in Asian cuisines and international menus.

Qualifications

• Three years of chef experience, ideally in yachting, private travel, or high-frequency travel environments.
• European passport holder.
• Experience in traveling roles is advantageous.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of international cuisines, with focus on Asian flavours.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to think on your feet.
• Food safety oriented mindset.
• Able to manage high-budget operations confidently.
• Excellent team management capabilities.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and provide emotional support to kitchen teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage all kitchen operations: scheduling, stock, budgeting, and team management.
• Prepare and cook dishes meeting dietary requirements and preferences.
• Create menus and present them to the Principal.
• Motivate, train, and coach kitchen staff.
• Ensure Principal and guest satisfaction with exceptional service.
• Source produce lists considering locations worldwide.
• Manage kitchen finances to keep spend within budget and minimise wastage.
• Collaborate with Tour Manager to plan moves and events.
• Work closely with Personal Assistants and service team on traveling household staff.
