Kyndryl Inc. in Spain is seeking a Security Operations Specialist to monitor, detect, and respond to security events across client environments. You will work within a hybrid team to maintain resilient security operations.

You will follow runbooks, triage incidents, perform containment, document timelines, and coordinate with technical teams. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and ongoing process improvement.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, or a SOC environment.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SIEM/EDR and network security platforms.
• Ability to analyze security events, logs, and alerts to identify threats and false positives.
• Understanding of common attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and threat categories.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, escalation paths, and evidence handling requirements.
• Experience documenting incidents, actions taken, and outcomes in a structured manner.
• Familiarity with basic networking, operating systems, and identity concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security alerts and event data from security platforms to identify potential threats.
• Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents following defined runbooks and escalation paths.
• Perform initial analysis to determine scope, impact, and urgency of incidents.
• Execute containment actions such as isolating systems or blocking access under approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate incident records, timelines, and evidence to support reporting and reviews.
• Support vulnerability management activities, including validation and tracking of remediation actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations processes, playbooks, and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers during incident response and post incident reviews.
