Capitole in Madrid seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist focused on Qualys / Vulnerability Management to lead platform administration and ongoing operations. The role blends deployment, troubleshooting, scripting and documentation within a large enterprise in the insurance sector.

You will configure Qualys agents and appliances, monitor deployments, automate tasks, and produce deployment and architectural docs while collaborating with Agile teams to deliver secure, reliable vulnerability

We’re looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist – Qualys / Vulnerability Management

Madrid – Hybrid model

At Capitole, we’re supporting a global company in the insurance sector with the evolution and day-to-day operation of a critical Vulnerability Management platform. We’re looking for a Cybersecurity professional with strong hands-on experience in Qualys.

What’s the challenge?

You’ll be responsible for the configuration, deployment monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the Qualys platform, helping ensure that vulnerability detection and management processes remain reliable across a large enterprise environment.

The role combines platform administration, troubleshooting, scripting, technical documentation and cybersecurity delivery rather than focusing only on vulnerability analysis.

You’ll be working on

• Configuring Qualys agents, appliances, scans, reports and platform settings.
• Monitoring deployments, including authentication and scan validation.
• Automating troubleshooting activities through scripting.
• Producing deployment, architecture and monitoring documentation.
• Maintaining the quality and continuity of the Vulnerability Management service.

What are we looking for?

• Strong hands-on experience with Qualys platform administration and configuration.
• Solid experience in Vulnerability Management.
• Experience deploying cybersecurity solutions in banking or insurance environments.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting and scripting/automation.
• Ability to create deployment and architecture documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including user stories and Definition of Done.

Nice to have:

• Experience with large enterprise security platforms.
• Experience working with Product Owners and Cybersecurity SMEs.
• Qualys certifications or experience with additional Qualys modules.
