Capitole Consulting is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to lead a multicultural team and drive secure cloud design across enterprise environments in an English- and Spanish-language setting.

The role combines cloud architecture, security governance and technical analysis, collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud platforms. Expect a hands-on, proactive security posture with ongoing improvements.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of CNAPP platforms, Wiz or similar.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, architecture and governance.
• Hands-on scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash or Python).

Responsabilidades

• Design and support secure cloud architectures across public cloud environments.
• Assess and improve cloud security posture, identifying risks and mitigations.
• Work with CNAPP solutions to monitor and strengthen cloud security.
• Perform technical root cause analysis (RCA) for security incidents and infra issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to implement security best practices.
• Support security reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain basic scripts to automate tasks.

The role combines cloud architecture, security governance and technical analysis, working closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable cloud platforms.

Responsabilities:

• Design and support secure cloud architectures across public cloud environments.
• Assess and improve cloud security posture, identifying risks and recommending mitigation actions.
• Work with CNAPP solutions to monitor and strengthen cloud security.
• Perform technical root cause analysis (RCA) for security-related incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to implement security best practices.
• Support security reviews, architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain basic scripts to automate operational and security-related tasks.

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Good understanding of cloud security principles, architecture and governance.
• Experience with CNAPP platforms, preferably Wiz or similar solutions.
• Broad security knowledge covering cloud, infrastructure and enterprise security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar).
• Experience performing technical root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting complex environments.
