A leading pharmaceutical company in Spain is seeking a Protein Discovery Section Manager to lead projects in the Discovery Research Department. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality standards in research and development of plasma proteins, oversee implementation of laboratory assays, and collaborate within a team. Candidates should have at least 3 years of research experience, strong analytical skills, and a high level of English proficiency. This permanent position offers a hybrid work model with flexible hours.

Formación

  • At least 3 years of experience in research, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

We are looking for Protein Discovery Section Manager to join Discovery Research Department within Scientific Innovation Office, specialized in the research, development, and production of purified plasma proteins with therapeutic properties obtained from the fractionation of human plasma.

The main mission will be to initiate, plan, coordinate, and carry out the technical aspects of assigned projects within established timelines, ensuring that all developments, validations, etc., are conducted according to internal procedures and GMP regulations.

What your responsibilities will be
  • You will be designing, developing and supervising the implementation of laboratory assays
  • You will review and analyze data (graphs, statistics...).
  • You will write methods and technical reports.
  • You will prepare presentations of results.
  • You will optimize new laboratory methods.
  • You will conduct literature searches and reviews.

  • At least 3 years of experience in research, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry and in vitro/in vivo assays, literature and patent review.
  • High knowledge of experimental design and statistics.
  • Office package (especially Excel) and Graphpad (valuable).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills: able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Analytical and accuracy skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to make decisions independently, innovative and strategic problem solver with broad vision.
  • Preferred: working knowledge and experience in the coagulation and critical care area.
  • Advanced level of English (C1).
