Alten Delivery Centre Spain is seeking an experienced SCQM / Supplier Quality Engineer to support a naval project within an international aerospace environment. You will join a highly qualified team of engineers and work with global suppliers.

The role involves leading supplier qualification, audits, CAPA, and driving non-conformities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in Supplier Quality within naval, marine or shipbuilding sector.
• Experience managing supplier audits, NCRs and CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of 8D, RCCA, CAPA, FMEA and ISO 9001.

Responsabilidades

• Manage supplier quality performance across naval and shipbuilding suppliers.
• Lead supplier qualification, audits and development activities.
• Manage non-conformities and drive CAPA.
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, RCCA and quality tools.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs and improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and classification society requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance across naval and shipbuilding suppliers.
• Lead supplier qualification, audits and development activities.
• Manage non-conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, RCCA and quality tools.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs and improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and classification society requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or Supply Chain Quality within the naval, marine or shipbuilding sector.
• Experience managing supplier audits, NCRs and CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of:

• RCCA
• CAPA
• FMEA
• Quality Assurance Systems
• ISO 9001
• Experience working with international suppliers.

Nice to Have

Nice to Have

• Experience with naval programs, offshore projects or shipbuilding activities.
• Knowledge of IACS, DNV, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas or other classification society requirements.
• Welding, fabrication or mechanical systems quality experience.
• Knowledge of marine equipment manufacturing and supplier qualification processes.
