Alten Delivery Centre Spain is seeking an experienced SCQM / Supplier Quality Engineer to support a naval project and ensure top quality across international suppliers.

You will lead supplier qualification, audits, CAPA processes and RCA activities, using 8D, RCCA and FMEA methods, while aligning with ISO 9001 and QA systems. A degree in engineering and proven marine sector experience are required, with fluency in English.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or Supply Chain Quality within naval, marine or shipbuilding sector.
• Experience managing supplier audits, NCRs and CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of 8D, RCCA, CAPA, FMEA, Quality Assurance Systems and ISO 9001.
• Experience working with international suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Manage supplier quality performance across naval and shipbuilding suppliers.
• Lead supplier qualification, audits and development activities.
• Manage non-conformities and drive CAPA actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, RCCA and quality tools.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs and improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and classification society requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance across naval and shipbuilding suppliers.
• Lead supplier qualification, audits and development activities.
• Manage non-conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, RCCA and quality tools.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs and improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and classification society requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or Supply Chain Quality within the naval, marine or shipbuilding sector.

Nice to Have

• Welding, fabrication or mechanical systems quality experience.
• Knowledge of marine equipment manufacturing and supplier qualification processes.
