SATLANTIS is seeking a Satellite Operations & Systems Engineer to join our Operations Team in Leioa, Bizkaia, Spain. You will monitor, control, and optimize satellites in orbit, working closely with the Operations Lead and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure mission success.

You will handle LEOP operations, anomaly investigations, and validate operational products while contributing to training and readiness of the team. Fluency in English is essential and Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering or related fields.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in spacecraft systems or operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Team spirit, versatility and creativity.
• Fluency in English; negotiation-level Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in satellite operations during LEOP, commissioning, nominal mission, and end-of-life activities.
• Contribute to tests in-orbit and anomaly investigations in collaboration with satellite operations teams.
• Support the preparation and validation of operational products such as Mission Control Software and test bench activities.
• Process and analyze telemetry data, maintaining supporting tools and infrastructure.
• Contribute to the training and operational readiness of the operations team.
• Participate in the development of space missions from concept to launch.
• Execute assessments and simulations of system performance and budgets.
• Coordinate engineering teams for system and subsystem development projects.
• Contribute to proposals for new missions and projects.
