GMV is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect for satellite navigation missions in Madrid. You will lead design efforts for ground segments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to harden systems and align with security by design principles.

The role requires experience in space security architectures, networking, risk management, and virtualization. Hybrid work is offered with opportunities for international mobility within European programs such as Galileo.

Formación

• Studies with strong technical background.
• Experience in security architectures of complex IT systems.
• Experience in secure network designs.
• Experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience in risk management.
• Experience in virtualization architectures.
• Good English level.

Responsabilidades

• Definition of the security architecture of ground segments (control centres and interfaces with stations and other entities).
• Generation and review of security documentation (Design, plans, technical notes...).
• Collaboration with cybersecurity team for the security model definition (OS choice, hardening, deviations).
• Liaison between cybersecurity and other technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Contribute to processes definition oriented to security by design.
• Identify potential risks and system threats.
• Provide technical support to segment teams and customers.
• Interact with client (ESA) and subcontractors (within Europe) including reviews and milestones.
• Evolve the security strategy.
