A consulting firm in the food industry is seeking an SAP Global Batch Traceability Consultant to lead projects across Europe. Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead Batch Management and Batch Traceability projects in SAP S/4 HANA for the client in Europe.
• Supervise and coordinate batch traceability in European plants and distribution centers.
• Design and implement traceability processes integrating MM, PP, QM, SD, and EWM.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Define functional specifications and coordinate technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops, training, and support for key users.
• Monitor dashboards and traceability reports, ensuring rapid response to alerts or recalls.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar.
• Experience: 7-10 years in SAP projects, minimum 5 years in batch management and traceability; experience in European projects and the food/consumer goods sector; participation in SAP S/4 HANA implementation or roll-out at an international level.
• Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA (Batch Management, Batch Traceability); experience in integration with MM, PP, QM, SD, and EWM modules; knowledge of GxP, ISO, HACCP is a plus.
• Languages: Advanced English (minimum C1); Dutch, Spanish and/or French are a plus.
• Personal skills: Leadership in discussions with European stakeholders; focus on results and quality in delivery; intercultural communication and negotiation skills; proactivity, flexibility, and adaptability; teamwork and a global vision of European traceability.
• Other: Based anywhere in Europe, with regular travel ability.
