Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) Consultant to join the new SAP Center in Madrid. You will drive CO implementations, tailor the Liebherr global template, and support cost controlling across multinational deployments.

The role requires 3–5 years of SAP CO experience, strong stakeholder communication, and willingness to travel up to 30%. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.

We are looking for a motivated SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) Consultant to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid. In this role, you will contribute to global SAP S/4HANA deployments, shaping the future of our controlling and financial performance management processes across multiple countries. You will be part of an international, cross-functional team that values innovation, methodology and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on the way Liebherr runs its business worldwide.

• Drive the successful implementation of SAP CO within our global S/4HANA transformation program, ensuring consistency with the Liebherr global template.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP CO solutions (including configuration and customization), with a focus on cost controlling, product costing, profit center accounting, cost center accounting and internal orders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing expert guidance across all project phases: Design, realization, testing, cutover, go-live and post go-live support.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to empower key users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to change management activities, ensuring adoption of new processes and S/4HANA solutions.
• Support the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with an international, cross-functional team to deliver high quality, scalable solutions that support our global growth.
• Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as an SAP CO consultant, with hands-on exposure to international SAP deployments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Controlling implementations, ideally in large-scale, industrial manufacturing, multinational environments with Controlling business models.
• Strong process knowledge in cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, internal orders and their integration points with SD, MM, FI, etc, and non-SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP RAR (revenue accounting and recognition) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business challenges and translate them into SAP solutions that drive efficiency and value.
• Familiar with JIRA and Confluence (or similar tools) for task management and team collaboration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.
• SAP S/4HANA Controlling certification or equivalent credentials are a strong plus.
