Liebherr is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Application Architect for Supply Chain Execution in Madrid. You will own the end-to-end architecture, shaping the global template and ensuring scalable, value-driven solutions across Inventory Management, Logistics, and related modules.

Join a cross-functional international team, work in a hybrid model, and travel up to 30% to Liebherr sites worldwide. Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus.

Formación

• 7+ years SAP experience, especially SAP S/4HANA in Supply Chain Execution.
• Experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant in international SAP programs.
• Strong understanding of integrating SCM with procurement, manufacturing and finance.
• Fluent English; German or other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end architecture for Supply Chain Execution in the global SAP S/4HANA template.
• Design and govern global template solutions across IM, LE, WM, EAM/PM, QM, Remanufacturing, and Limited Manufacturing.
• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions with best practices and Clean Core principles.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Service Management, Finance and EWM stakeholders.
• Lead Fit-to-Template workshops and architecture discussions with multi-country teams.

Join Liebherr, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing, as we advance our digital transformation journey. We are looking for a motivated SAP S/4HANA Application Architect Supply Chain (m/f/d) to play a key role in our newly established IT Shared Service Center in Madrid. In this role, you will own and shape the Supply Chain Execution domain of Liebherr's global SAP S/4HANA template for our Sales and Service Companies, supporting a multi-division environment including Aerospace, Construction Machinery, Mining, Appliances, and other Liebherr divisions. You will be responsible for designing standardized and scalable solutions supporting Inventory Management, Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management (excluding SAP EWM), Enterprise Asset Management, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Remanufacturing, and Limited Manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration with Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, Service Management, Finance, and Extended Warehouse Management. You will be part of an international, cross-functional team that values innovation, methodology, and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on the way Liebherr runs its business worldwide. The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office. We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site on a weekly basis.

Creating passion: your responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the Supply Chain Execution domain within Liebherr's global SAP S/4HANA template, ensuring consistency, scalability, and business value.
• Design and govern global template solutions across Inventory Management, Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management (excluding SAP EWM), Enterprise Asset Management, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Remanufacturing, and Limited Manufacturing.
• Translate complex business requirements into standardized SAP solutions while promoting harmonization, simplification, SAP best practices, and Clean Core principles.
• Design and govern the integration of Supply Chain Execution processes with Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, Service Management, Finance, Extended Warehouse Management, Transportation, and external logistics solutions.
• Lead Fit-to-Template workshops, architecture discussions, and solution design activities with business stakeholders across multiple countries and divisions.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout all project phases: design, realization, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Promote standardized logistics execution and inventory management processes while maximizing the use of SAP standard capabilities and supporting the continuous evolution of Liebherr's global template.
• Support the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with an international, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support our global growth.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP experience, including significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Execution processes.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant in international SAP programs or template-based rollouts.
• Deep expertise in several of the following SAP domains: Inventory Management (IM); Logistics Execution (LE); Warehouse Management (WM); Enterprise Asset Management / Plant Maintenance (EAM / PM); Quality Management (QM); Remanufacturing and Limited Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of the integration between Supply Chain Execution processes and Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, Service Management, Finance, Transportation, and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Experience designing global templates across multiple countries and legal entities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business challenges and translate them into SAP solutions that drive efficiency and business value.
• Familiar with JIRA and Confluence (or similar tools) for task management and team collaboration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
• Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments.
