Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a qualified IT Basis Security expert to join the ERP+ Operations Team in Catalonia. You will drive SAP security concepts, governance and operational stability across the SAP landscape.

The role requires collaboration with an international IT department, strong stakeholder management and robust GxP compliance capabilities. English fluency and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or similar studies.
• 4 years experience working in IT Basis Security.
• Deeply familiar with ERP Basis security management tools and how to best utilize them for optimal protection.
• Excellent knowledge in GxP compliance and documentation practices.
• Experience in global stakeholder and project management.
• Proven ability to work creatively in a business and technical environment to contribute global IT strategies and realization plans.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and intercultural competencies.

Responsibilities

• Consulting, development and implementation of SAP security concepts (e.g. Network segmentation, application and database levels, SAP Message Server, ACL- Access control list).
• Conception, development and implementation of the communication architecture (load balancer, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Gateway, HTTPS, Certificate, SNC‑Secure network communications).
• Firewall rules log analysis and definition of rules.
• Transfer of the new security requirements into the rules and regulations.
• Execution of SAP Security Audits and vulnerability analyses in the SAP infrastructure.
• Experience in monitoring Focused Run and predictive analytics.
• Participation in penetration tests.
• Understanding of social engineering or other hacking methodologies / best practices.
• Knowledge in artificial intelligence is a plus.
• You will work in an international environment within the global IT department.
