Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH, a global leader in life sciences, seeks an IT Basis Security Specialist for the ERP+ Operations Team. The role centers on SAP Basis security governance and ensuring operational stability across the SAP landscape.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing security concepts, conducting audits, and collaborating with international stakeholders to advance global IT security strategies. Flexible working conditions and development opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or related field.
• 4 years of experience in IT Basis Security.
• Deep familiarity with ERP Basis security management tools.
• Excellent knowledge of GxP compliance and documentation practices.
• Experience in global stakeholder and project management.
• Ability to work creatively to support global IT strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Consult, develop and implement SAP security concepts (Network segmentation, ACLs, etc.).
• Conception and implementation of the communication architecture (load balancer, SAP Web Dispatcher, HTTPS).
• Analyze firewall rules and define new security rules.
• Perform SAP Security Audits and vulnerability analyses in SAP infrastructure.
• Monitor Focused Run and predictive analytics, participate in penetration tests.

Within IT GFS SAP Platform, as jobholder you will be working in the ERP+ Operations Team. This includes responsibility for SAP Basis security, governance and operational stability.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Consulting, development and implementation of SAP security concepts (e.g. Network segmentation, application and database levels, SAP Message Server, ACL- Access control list).
• Conception, development and implementation of the communication architecture (load balancer, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Gateway, HTTPS, Certificate, SNC-Secure network communications).
• Firewall rules log analysis and definition of rules.
• Transfer of the new security requirements into the rules and regulations.
• Execution of SAP Security Audits and vulnerability analyses in the SAP infrastructure.
• Experience in monitoring Focused Run and predictive analytics.
• Participation in penetration tests.
• Understanding of social engineering or other hacking methodologies / best practices.
• Knowledge in artificial intelligence is a plus.
• You will work in an international environment within the global IT department.

Requirements

• Bachelor´s or master’s degree in IT or similar studies.
• 4 years experience working in IT Basis Security.
• Deeply familiar with ERP Basis security management tools and how to best utilize them for optimal protection.
• Excellent knowledge in GxP compliance and documentation practices.
• Experience in global stakeholder and project management.
• Proven ability to work creatively in a business and technical environment to contribute global IT strategies and realization plans.
• Fluent in english with excellent communication and intercultural competencies.
