Job summary

Omega CRM, a Merkle & Dentsu company, is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team in Spain. You will analyze marketing automation needs, implement cloud development infrastructure, and translate client requirements into scalable solutions across touchpoints.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, strong SQL/AMPscript/SSJS/JavaScript skills, API integrations, and a focus on quality.

Qualifications

• Proven +3 years in marketing automation/MarTech roles.
• Deep Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and development knowledge.
• Strong SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and API experience.
• Client-facing experience translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Quality-focused with documentation, testing and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis for marketing automation and martech solution development.
• Participate in the implementation of marketing cloud development infrastructure.
• Analyze clients' marketing and technology needs and implement developments.
• Perform basic technical and specialized marketing tasks.
• Implement processes for cloud-based marketing automation solutions.
• Launch developments and automation processes for cloud implementation.
• Provide development consulting to ensure automated communications run smoothly.
• Implement developments to activate automated communications meeting client touchpoints.
• Stay updated with latest Martech advances and solutions.
• Conduct tests, diagnostics and resolve issues in marketing automation tools.
• Document development processes and track system performance metrics.
• Meet software quality standards with Omega's management.
• Work on cloud integrations using Javascript, AMPscript, SSJS, and APIs.

We are currently looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in analysis for marketing automation and martech solution development.
• Participate in the implementation of marketing cloud development infrastructure.
• Participate in analyzing clients' specific marketing and technology needs and contribute to communication processes in systems by implementing developments.
• Perform basic technical and specialized marketing tasks.
• Implement and develop the necessary processes to run cloud-oriented marketing automation solutions.
• Launch developments and automation processes that best suit cloud implementation.
• Participate in development consulting services to ensure that automated communication processes run smoothly.
• Implement the necessary developments to activate automated communications and marketing automation processes that meet clients' needs at different touchpoints with their contacts.
• Participate in implementing the latest technological advances and marketing technology solutions.
• Perform test trials, error diagnostics, and resolve development issues in the use of marketing automation and martech tools.
• Document development processes and track system performance metrics.
• Meet the agreed-upon software quality standards with Omega's technical management.
• Work on cloud integrations using different programming and development languages: Javascript, Ampscript, Server-Side Javascript, API.

Requirements & Experience

• Proven Experience: +3 years of proven hands-on experience in a similar role within marketing automation and MarTech ecosystems.
• Salesforce Expertise: Deep technical knowledge in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and development.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS development, alongside experience with API integrations.
• Client Interaction & Communication: Proven experience in client-facing roles, acting as a key point of contact to translate business requirements into technical solutions and aligning technical teams with stakeholder needs.
• Quality & Performance: Track record of maintaining high software quality standards, writing technical documentation, and performing testing, error diagnostics, and system resolution.

Desirable / Value-Add Skills (Pluses)

• Specialized Projects: Hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud and Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio) projects.
• Multi-Cloud Knowledge: Experience with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) or complementary MarTech tools is highly welcome.
• Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certifications are a plus.
