Descripción del empleo

At ABB, we help industries outrun – leaner and cleaner. Here, progress is an expectation – for you, your team, and the world. As a global market leader, we’ll give you what you need to make it happen. It won’t always be easy; growing takes grit. But at ABB, you’ll never run alone. Run what runs the world.

This Position reports to: EL Product Marketing Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure the precise and timely administration of pre‑sale customer requests across all sales channels so that Sales and Product Marketing can make well‑informed decisions and move fast. Day to day, you’ll execute and continuously improve our pre‑sales support model for Smart Power Spain – coordinating prices & availability, quotations, SPAs/SPR governance, tender documentation, and system hygiene – while proactively escalating issues to secure swift resolution.

The work model for the role is: hybrid – #LI-Hybrid.

This role contributes to the Electrification Business – Smart Power Division (Spain). Main stakeholders include Channel Sales (OEM, PB&I, Distribution), Technical Promotion, Product Marketing Specialists (Breakers & Digital, Switches & Fusegear, Enclosures, Motor Starting & Safety), RDC planning/logistics, factories, distributors, panel builders, installers, and end‑user influencers.

  • Supporting Sales and Channel Managers across OEM, Panel Builders & Installers, Distributors, and Technical Promotion in all pre‑sale activities (price & availability, quote status, pre‑sale technical questions, cross‑references/substitutions).
  • Managing Special Price Requests/Agreements end‑to‑end (validity dates, customer data, discounts, approvals) to enable accurate order execution in SAP/CPQ and to uphold margin/pricing governance.
  • Maintaining proactive communication with Product Marketing Specialists, Channel Sales, RDC planning/logistics, factories, pricing/finance, and key partners – providing clear lead times, alternates, and status updates to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Owning pre‑sales documentation and system accuracy (Salesforce opportunities & quotes, SAP pricing conditions, shared folders/templates, trackers/dashboards) to ensure traceability and audit readiness.

You’ll join a collaborative, high‑energy team that bridges Product Marketing and every sales channel. We operate with clear SLAs, crisp documentation, and fast, friendly escalation so opportunities don’t stall.

Qualifications for the Role
  • 2‑4 years in B2B sales support / pre‑sales administration (pricing, quotations, SPAs/tenders) in electrical/electro‑industrial or adjacent components.
  • Fluent Spanish and professional English (written/spoken) to manage internal stakeholders, documentation, and global interactions.
  • Proficiency with ERP (SAP SD or similar), CRM (Salesforce), CPQ/quotation tools, and strong Excel; Power BI familiarity is a plus.
  • Channel fluency: able to support OEM, Panel Builders & Installers, Distributors, and Technical Promotion workflows (e.g., tender portals, distributor quote cycles, consultant requests).
  • Product literacy or strong learning agility in low‑voltage portfolios (breakers/MCBs/MCCBs, contactors & motor starters/softstarters, switches & fusegear, enclosures, safety & accessories).
  • High accuracy, documentation discipline, time management and SLA ownership; comfortable escalating and following through to resolution.
What's in it for you?

Direct, visible impact supporting growth across all channels in Smart Power Spain, with hands‑on collaboration across marketing, sales, operations, and factories – and access to global know‑how and tools.

Benefits
