Formación

Summary of position

While Straumann is the market leader in dental implants, we are looking for talented individuals to build a new market segment in Orthodontics across Western Europe. The Orthodontic Territory Manager (TM) will focus on acquiring new customers and developing existing ones for ClearCorrect, generating case submissions and production in their designated territory. They will be responsible for generating new accounts from leads, converting competitors’ users, developing and growing existing providers, and enhancing customer loyalty and utilization through excellent service and patient growth activities. This is a field-based role requiring daily travel. The position requires a self-starter capable of performing at a high level with limited supervision.

Location: Pais Vasco (preferably)

Territory: País Vasco, Navarra, Cantabria, and La Rioja

In this role, you will…

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new cases and sales revenue.
  • Make phone calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits to customers.
  • Deliver sales presentations highlighting product benefits, value proposition, and competitive edge to attract new customers and increase share among existing ones.
  • Develop and communicate clear and effective proposals and quotations to customers.
  • Train clinic staff and motivate them to actively promote ClearCorrect to patients when appropriate.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with Inside Sales, Provider Service, Clinical Advisors, and Marketing to provide excellent service, address requests, and resolve complaints.
  • Conduct patient growth activities such as open houses and seminars. Support activities like study clubs and circles, acting as a partner to providers.
  • Analyze territory potential, identify opportunities, and craft personal sales strategies to optimize resource allocation, accelerate growth, and maximize ROI.
  • Report account activities via sales funnel (IANOS) in CRM, use sales dashboards for visibility, and follow up with DoMo/Business Warehouse reports.
  • Meet sales targets and other metrics set by management weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Develop growth and account plans for core customers and prospects to build reference customers and local "lighthouses".
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions as required.
  • Stay informed about product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitors, advertising, and promotional trends.
  • Provide reports on customer needs, interests, issues, competitor activities, and patient behaviors for new product development and service upgrades.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales/account management experience; dental/medical background is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales/account management.
  • Strong presentation skills and language proficiency for the territory; advanced English skills required.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports on metrics as defined by management.
