Enza Zaden España in Murcia, Spain, is seeking a Sales Representative & Product Developer for a full-time role. You will manage key customer accounts, grow sales, forecast budgets, and develop customer plans to execute targeted strategies.

You will also provide technical guidance on Enza Zaden varieties and identify market opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with breeding and product teams, nurture relationships, monitor market trends, and present compelling proposals.

Formación

  • Bachelor of Science in an Agricultural major is required.
  • 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in sales, product development, agriculture, or a related industry.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong customer orientation with a results‑driven and sales‑focused mindset.
  • Solid agricultural and/or agronomic background; prior experience with the vegetable seed market desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional and regional teams.

Responsabilidades

  • Own and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and pricing activities for the assigned territory and customer base.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific plans to ensure effective execution of tactical sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to enhance brand loyalty and secure profitable outcomes.
  • Provide expert technical advice to ensure successful cultivation and performance of Enza Zaden varieties.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and drive new business development.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Mentor junior sales professionals and accompany them on customer visits when needed.
  • Communicate product value propositions effectively to customers and prospects to drive commercialization success.
  • Collect, analyze, and report market and customer data to support Market Intelligence.

Sales Representative & Product Developer

Location: Murcia, Spain. Full‑time position.

Responsibilities
Sales and Account Management
  • Manage and grow sales within a defined group of customers at the subsidiary level by executing targeted sales strategies and market development initiatives.
  • Own and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and pricing activities for the assigned territory and customer base.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor customer‑specific plans to ensure effective execution of tactical sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing and prospective customers to enhance brand loyalty and secure profitable outcomes.
Customer Engagement and Market Development
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Enza Zaden product portfolio and provide expert technical advice to ensure successful cultivation and performance of varieties.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and drive new business development with complex and diverse customers.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Handle diverse and challenging customers with ongoing support needs.
Product Development and Pipeline Support
  • Identify promising experimental varieties through local trials and collaboration with global breeding teams.
  • Actively contribute to the variety selection and advancement decision‑making process using data‑driven insights.
  • Support team development by mentoring junior sales professionals and accompanying them on customer visits when needed.
  • Communicate product value propositions effectively to customers and prospects to drive commercialization success.
Market Intelligence and Reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and report market and customer data to support the Market Intelligence function.
  • Provide regular updates on sales progress, trial outcomes, customer feedback, and market developments to the Sales Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Independently prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to ensure successful commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in an Agricultural major is required.
  • 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in sales, product development, agriculture, or a related industry.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications.
