Job Summary

As part of our exciting growth plans, our Spanish team is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager in the Polymers market to join our sales team and drive business line expansion for the Specialty Chemicals Industry (SCI) with DKSH. This position will spearhead market entry strategies to reach new markets and customers while building strong client relationships. The role involves customer visits across the South and Centre of Spain, with remote working arrangements available from Madrid.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth in polymers markets
  • Forecast and set achievable revenue targets to drive sales growth
  • Achieve sales objectives within the assigned segment while managing costs and gross margin
  • Generate leads through cold calling and other sales activities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners and customers
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with customers
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain competitiveness
  • Represent DKSH at industry events and trade shows

Your Profile

  • Degree/Master's in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of proven technical and sales management experience
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with good time-management skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Good knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Deep industry knowledge and awareness of trends in the Specialty Chemicals Industry, especially polymers, plastics, composites, and rubber
