Listgrove Ltd, based in Spain, seeks an experienced polymer resin sales professional to develop business primarily in Portugal and Northern Spain. You will regularly visit customers, negotiate terms, and manage orders, while tracking market trends and reporting on activities.

Ideal candidates will have a commercial/technical degree, 10+ years of sales experience in trading or distribution of polymers, and fluency in Spanish and English. Travel and independent work are required.

Formación

• University/technical or commercial degree.
• Over 10 years of professional sales experience.
• Experience in trading or distribution of polymers preferred (PE/PP).
• Fluent in Spanish and English; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Visit customers regularly to sell products and manage sales tasks.
• Achieve sales turnover and margin targets in assigned area.
• Identify sales opportunities and acquire new customers.
• Submit offers and negotiate prices on site with customers.
• Gather market information and monitor competitive landscape.
• Ensure timely order processing and shipping.
• Maintain CRM entries with visits and feedback.
• Prepare calculations, statistics and offers for customers.
• Provide weekly activity reports and market feedback.
• Analyze customer, competitor and market trends in defined area.

The Company:

Our client is the Chemical trading division of an International conglomerate that has been active in the import/export trade and the development of new business for nearly five decades. The main task of the Chemicals division is the import and export of chemicals of all kinds, their derivatives and various chemical end products for customers in Europe and Asia. This role is a new position created to develop sales and business of polyolefins primarily in Portugal and Northern Spain regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular customer visits and sales of our product range as well as the acquisition and performance of sales-oriented tasks through regular telephone customer contacts
• Responsibility for sales, turnover and contribution margin for the assigned area
• Active sales acquisition and identification of sales opportunities
• Submission of offers and price negotiations with the customer on site
• Obtaining market information as well as determining and monitoring the competitive situation
• Ensuring proper and timely order and shipping processing
• Customer acquisition, visits and support
• Complaint processing and sales correspondence
• Order and shipping processing of complete order, also for third countries
• Create calculations, statistics and offers
• Provide a weekly report on business activities (including sales performance versus budget) and the market environment
• Provide visit reports & all relevant feedback in CRM
• Analysis of customer, competitor and market trends and demand structure in defined area

Person profile:

• A university commercial / technical degree and professional sales experience of more than 10 years
• Working experience in trading or distribution company as a polymer resin trader, especially PE & PP items in Northern Spain and Portugal region
• Fluent in Spanish and English languages
• MS Office skills
• Willingness to travel and an independent, goal-oriented and systematic way of working
• Outstanding interpersonal skills across cultures
