For the expansion of our Sales Team in the Vigo area, Spain, we are looking for a Sales Engineer.

Your responsibilities:
  • Actively identifying, developing and expanding the sales of IPG fiber lasers to OEMs, Integrators, end‑users of lasers and national research labs in the North West area of Spain and Portugal.
  • Developing new markets and applications to generate new leads and maintain regular contact with existing customers.
  • Creating and delivering presentations with the support of the technical support team at public seminars, customer sites and professional conferences.
  • Working closely with the technical team at both pre and post‑sales stages to provide technical support to potential customers.
  • Achieving personal sales targets.
Your profile:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, physical science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • Industrial knowledge in welding solutions.
  • Understanding of the challenges and technical issues clients face in the engineering sectors, especially with regard to welding solutions.
  • Positive and professional communicator.
  • Willing to travel, fluent both in spoken and written Spanish, Portuguese and English.
