Responsabilities:
- Act as a strategic partner and advisor to the customer, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.
- Increase market share, sales, and active buying customer base.
- Engage with customers and high potential customers to learn about their business, the products they make, and their initiatives for improvement.
- Implement an effective sales process following the "ifm Opportunity Management" methodology.
- Evaluate all listed accounts and develop an account strategy to identify and win the best opportunities for ifm.
- Conduct in-person meetings on large projects to evaluate machines, solve applications, or present ifm solutions.
- Work in a team selling environment to leverage expertise across the sales team, develop accounts, and win opportunities.
- Proactively approach new business and prospecting to develop future growth.
- Develop and maintain a sales funnel with enough opportunities in all stages to exceed the annual sales growth target.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and sharing this knowledge with the sales team.
Qualification / Skills:
- 1-5 years of related technical sales experience preferred.
- Business or engineering degree preferred.
- Strong selling attitude and mechanical aptitude; industrial automation experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and sales skills to provide value-added support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-disciplined with a high sense of urgency and ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Proficient with digital tools (CRM, website, video conferencing).
