EFI is looking for an Sales Development Manager to join our team in Iberia to sell our VUTEk super - wide-format Inkjet machines Nozomi platformsinglepass technology.
This role is a field based position and so any Spanish location is considered. You will be travelling to customers on a weekly basis to meet customers, to close deals and build new partnerships. In this role you will need to be dynamic, open-minded both strategic and hands-on. You will report to the Director of Sales for Display Graphics located in Italy and be part of the European Display Graphics team.
We have a big customer base in Iberia and many sold printers and this role involves both direct and channel sales. EFI super-wide-format printers have a solid reputation within the market and also a good range of machines. We provide you a good base in terms of portfolio of products, you just need to come with curiosity, passion and resilience to return ''No'' into a meaninful action for the customer business.
What you will do:
- Achieve / exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives
- Maintain and expand EFI’s dominant Ink jet position in the assigned region
- Perform prospecting activities and maintain a sufficient base of prospects that will enable completion of sales targets. Prospecting activities include cold calling, proposal preparation, product demonstrations, customer analysis and needs assessments.
- Prepare professional proposals to address specific customer requirements.
- Maximize all leads & opportunities to increase deal number and size and accelerate the buying process.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values.
- Maintain proactive relationships with all partners associated with respective opportunities.
- Accurate forecasting based upon realistic opportunity assessments. Forecasting covers / includes direct opportunities and channel / partner opportunities
- Develop and execute Major account strategies
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction management with account(s).
- Maintain proactive relationships with all partners associated with respective opportunities.
- Maintain Account and opportunity updates in the CRM system (Salesforce.com)
- Assist in the communication and execution of Ink Jet sales and marketing campaigns
What you should bring to this role:
- Sales experience with proven track record of successful sales performance, with a focus at closing deals and preferably in high value capital goods and services and/or (Digital) Printing Markets
- Capability to leverage relations and (y)our knowledge of the accounts
- Highly dynamic and motivated professional with excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
- Proactiveness and autonomous
- Ability to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organization
- Knowledge and understanding of the market trends
- Graphic Arts / Printing industry experience is a plus
- Good English and Spanish skills , writing and speaking
- Easy connections throughout the Iberia territories via access to motorways and occasional travel in Europe in particular to Bergamo, Italy.
