Monex Europa S.L. in Madrid seeks an Associate covering the French market to grow our client portfolio by identifying opportunities, building relationships and advancing FX solutions.

You will work closely with the Sales, Dealing, Compliance and Operations teams to learn the end-to-end sales process and to develop your commercial and technical skills in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Fluency in English and French is essential, with 1–4 years of relevant experience, strong communication

About the Role

As an Associate covering the French market, you will support the growth of Monex's client portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and developing your knowledge of FX solutions, international payments and financial markets. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build a career in financial services.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues across Sales, Dealing, Compliance and Operations, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full sales cycle while developing the commercial and technical skills required to succeed in the industry. Success in this role comes from curiosity, strong relationship‑building skills, commercial awareness and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Support

• Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound activity, referrals and networking opportunities.
• Support the sales process from initial outreach through onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce and internal systems.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on commercial discussions and client proposals.
• Contribute to achieving team sales objectives and commercial targets.

Client Relationship Management

• Develop relationships with French‑speaking corporate clients and prospects.
• Understand client needs and introduce relevant FX and international payment solutions.
• Support account management activities and help strengthen existing client relationships.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and ensure a high standard of service.

Learning & Development

• Build knowledge of foreign exchange markets, hedging solutions and international payments.
• Learn Monex's sales methodology, products and regulatory framework.
• Participate actively in coaching, training sessions and desk development initiatives.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.

Conduct, Risk & Compliance

• Follow Monex policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure client information and sales activity are accurately recorded.
• Escalate issues or concerns appropriately and support compliance best practices.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of client outcomes and professional conduct.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and French is mandatory. Additional European languages are a plus.
• 1-4 years of previous experience in sales, business development, financial services, FX, payments, banking or a related commercial environment is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in financial markets and international business.
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven environment.
