Job summary

SHV Holdings NV is seeking a production operator to support safe, efficient production by handling duties on the production line and maintaining equipment. The role involves logging data, following procedures, and preserving a clean and compliant work area.

The successful candidate will monitor operations, report deviations, and collaborate with supervisors to improve processes and equipment reliability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Executes operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate all equipment to maintain safe and efficient production.
• Periodically inspects and performs small maintenance tasks on production equipment, signalling defects and deficiencies.
• If applicable and appropriate, conducts minor repair work.
• Logs data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate logbooks/systems to monitor progress and administration.
• Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor to optimize operations.
• Works in compliance with relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and procedures; maintains high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Promotes awareness of SHEQ, signals hazardous situations, and takes action in case of imminent danger.
• Ensures the work area is left clean, safe, and free of hazards, maintaining production lines and sites.
