Nutreco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical installations across production lines and facilities. The role focuses on keeping the production process running safely and on schedule, with support for R&D labs and utilities as needed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating parts, and possibly supervising third-party technicians.

Formación

• Inspections and preventive maintenance of handling equipment and lines.
• Restores (imminent) defects and performs corrective maintenance per schedule.
• Signals flaws with details and proposes solutions to avoid future problems.
• Orders spare parts and materials for maintenance; may supervise third parties.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and assesses repair needs; decides on immediate repair vs. planned work.
• Performs emergency repairs and disassembly/assembly of equipment as needed.
• Performs modifications and overhaul work based on work orders and supervisor instructions.
• Logs all maintenance activities in the maintenance management system for traceability.
• Works in compliance with safety regulations and permits; reports hazards.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical or mechanical installations and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance during planned stops and respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Coordinate with supervisors and possibly supervise technicians from third parties.
• Document maintenance actions and maintain accurate records for asset history.
