Alstom in Madrid is seeking a Safety Assurance Engineer to support the delivery of safe and reliable railway signalling systems. This role focuses on applying established safety methodologies and contributing to Safety Reports and the Safety Case while engaging with cross functional teams.

The candidate will work with dedicated colleagues in a multi-site, multicultural environment, ensuring timely progress and rigorous quality in all safety deliverables.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of Safety Assurance experience in railway signalling projects (IXL and/or ERTMS).
• Fluent in Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Experience in multicultural and multi-site environments.

Responsabilidades

• Perform safety assurance activities under PSAM guidance.
• Apply safety methodologies (Safety Plan, PHA, FMECA, FTA, IHA, OSHA, SRIL, Hazard Log, V&V Safety Report, Safety Case).
• Contribute to safety reports and safety case preparation.
• Participate in periodic safety reviews.
• Support closure of findings from internal and external assessors.

Your role, your impact

• Perform safety assurance activities under the guidance of the PSAM

What you bring

• Specific training in Railway Safety domain
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Safety Assurance within railway signalling projects (IXL and/or ERTMS)
