Overview

Hello España and Europe! We’re hiring a Ruby on Rails Engineer Junior to join our Core Ruby Team, where performance, reliability, and clean code are essential. Hybrid Role: 4 days at home and one day at the office.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance core services using clean, efficient Ruby code
• Write meaningful, well-structured tests
• Collaborate across teams (Elixir, Java, RabbitMQ, Redis)
• Upgrade and modernize our Rails stack
• Monitor and maintain system performance and reliability

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Ruby / Rails
• Solid CS fundamentals (Degree in CS or related field)
• Strong OOP & meta-programming skills
• Testing mindset and clean code habits
• Fluent English
• EU work permit (a plus)

Bonus Points

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, Webhooks
• Exposure to Elixir or Java integrations
• CI/CD pipelines, observability tools
• Rails version upgrades
