Johnson Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced RN for Labor and Delivery, primarily days, with a full-time schedule. You will provide direct patient care, assess maternal and fetal status, and communicate changes in condition with the medical team to ensure safe delivery and outcomes.

The role requires NRP, BLS, and strong pain management and teaching skills. Collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team is essential for high-quality maternal-child care and ongoing improvement

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery with adequate supervision.
• Assess and plan individualized patient care; monitor fetal status.
• Communicate changes in clinical condition with physicians.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Educate patients and families on pain management and care plans.
