Johnson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) seeks an experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse for a 12-week in-house contract assignment in Clarksville, AR. The RN provides family-centered care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, with competency in fetal monitoring and obstetric emergencies.

The role requires current AR RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and prior LDRP experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
Current, unrestricted Arkansas RN license or valid multistate RN license.
Recent, demonstrated experience independently caring for laboring patients, postpartum patients, newborns, and mother–baby couplets.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
Demonstrated competency in electronic fetal monitoring, interpretation, documentation, and escalation.

Responsabilités

Perform maternal assessments, obstetric history, labor progress, pain assessments, and care plans.
Monitor fetal status and communicate concerning findings promptly.
Provide nursing care during spontaneous, induced, and augmented labor, postpartum, and newborn care.
Administer and monitor medications, IV fluids, and blood products per orders and policies.
Safely manage high-alert obstetric medications and epidural analgesia as ordered.
Assist with vaginal and operative births and immediate maternal recovery.
Recognize obstetric emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
Support mother–baby couplets and provide discharge education.
