Essity seeks a site RESH leader to drive risk, environment, safety and health strategy at the site level, develop capabilities, coach leadership, and partner with global RESH to implement initiatives.

You will establish goals, lead audits and investigations, manage budget, and role model performance. Fluent English and 5+ years in production RESH preferred.

Formación

• Leadership role focused on RESH at production sites.
• Sufficient experience in RESH strategy development and implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the RESH strategy on site and lead the I Care journey for safety and health.
• Advise leadership on RESH topics to foster a strong, sustainable culture.
• Set goals, objectives and implementation plans with the Site Lead Team.
• Coordinate audits, incident investigations and training across RESH.
• Collaborate with global RESH and ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Develop and update RESH policies and procedures per regulations and standards.
• Identify CAPEX needs to minimize risk and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide visible leadership on the shop floor and act as business partner to operations.

About the role

The role is member of the site leadership team, responsible to drive the Risk, Environment, Safety and Health strategy at site level. It contributes to the achievement of the site objectives and targets and is responsible for development of the organizational capability to get the expected results. Provides leadership, coaching and advice for the assigned site in the area of Risk, Environment, Safety and Health.

What You Will Do

• Leads the I Care journey on site.

• Is the advisor of the leadership team on Risk, Environment, Safety and Health topics, with the aim of creating a strong and sustainable culture on site.

• Establishes safety and environmental goals, objectives and implementation plan with the Site Lead Team

• Collaborates with the global RESH organization and implements initiatives on the site.

• Ensures that compliance to legal obligations and company standard (RESH Framework) is maintained and regularly reviewed.

• Develops and updates all safety and environment policies, procedures, and training modules, in accordance with legal and company requirements.

• Coordinates risk assessments, safety and environment audits, incident and accident investigations, safety and environment training, and record keeping.

• Identifies CAPEX needs to minimize risks

• Is required to provide visible leadership on the shop floor in all operating areas to drive cultural changes.

• Acts as business partner to the operational teams.

• Drives continuous improvement through reapplication of good practices from internal and external benchmark.

• Accountable for the department budget

• Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence Management, coaching and education within their department.

Who You Are

• University degree in relevant field is preferred

• 5+ years experience working in a production site

• 3+ years experience in RESH management preferred

• Fluent English

• Ability to develop and drive strategies, set priorities and lead changes

• Strong skills in leading through others

• Ability to develop and implement RESH programs, conduct assessments and lead incident investigations

• Understanding of local, national and industry specific RESH regulations
