A leading aerospace company located in Getafe is looking for a Static Stress Specialist to perform analysis on aircraft repairs. You will ensure compliance with regulations and communicate with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge in static stress analysis. This role offers a diverse and inclusive working environment.

Formación

  • At least 5 years in Structural Analysis Engineering.

Job Description

A vacancy for a Static Stress Specialist for Engineering in-service solutions has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe.

Who is the 1SAT1 RFE Daily Repair Team?

The RFE repair team in Getafe, thanks to the support of our various Repair Centers in North America, India and China, ensures, for the entire Airbus fleet, a 24/7 support to Airlines requesting repair solutions not covered by the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).

The Daily Repairs are related to the day to day operations of our customers and are activities in the very short term (usually a few hours to give an answer and send approval documents).

Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Perform Static Stress analysis for repairs according to validated methods.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
  • Analysis of damage reports to understand the root cause and find the repair solution.
  • Interpretation and knowledge in NDT.
  • Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders (suppliers and customers).
  • Provide certification documents for the repair / acceptance of damaged structures.
We are looking forward to know you:
  • Education : Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
  • Experience : At least 5 years in Structural Analysis Engineering
  • Soft skills : High adaptability to work on new topics, new in a networking mode, customer oriented.
  • Languages : Advanced level in English.
  • Technical knowledge : Sound knowledge of static stress analysis of aerospace structures and tools (ISAMI, FEM, ...).
  • Valuable / Nice to have : Experience in structural design principles and tools and / or Fatigue and Damage Tolerance skills.
