Job Description: About the Role & Team Bring Disney stories and franchises to life for consumers across Iberia. In this role, you will help shape and deliver the DCP Retail Marketing strategy, turning EMEA and Iberia strategic plans into compelling, commercially focused initiatives. You will lead the planning, execution and measurement of integrated campaigns across retail, digital, social and in-store channels, partnering with Franchise, Commercial, Licensee, Creative, agency and cross-functional teams to deliver aligned, timely and brand-consistent campaigns with measurable impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded marketer who combines strong project and stakeholder management with analytical thinking, creativity and a deep understanding of retail and consumer behaviour. You will spot new opportunities, optimise campaign performance and create innovative consumer experiences that make Disney franchises feel relevant, engaging and memorable. This role is based in our Madrid office, with an expectation to work onsite four days per week.

Values

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values, acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do
  • Local Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development of the local DCP franchise strategy, adapting the EMEA DCP strategy to the Iberian market, and the implementation of Retail Marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Retail Marketing Campaigns: Plan and develop impactful marketing campaigns that support sales targets and align with Company and Key Account Manager objectives. Execute commercial activations across different retail environments, including promotions, pop-up experiences, permanent retail spaces, and other in-store initiatives.
  • Campaign Execution & Project Management: Ensure marketing campaigns are delivered effectively and on time, working closely with all relevant teams and in line with the Company Marketing Business Plan. Oversee project workflows across multiple channels, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Ensure all campaigns are effectively measured, and results are shared with relevant stakeholders. Capture key learnings and best practices through case studies and apply them to future campaigns, continuously improving channel knowledge and identifying growth opportunities to inform marketing investment decisions.
  • Franchise & Commercial Integration: Act as a key link between Franchise, Retail Marketing, Commercial, and Licensee teams, ensuring franchise priorities are translated into relevant and impactful retail marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Synergies: Coordinate and develop synergies with other Lines of Business (LOBs), including Studios, Disney+, Disney Destinations, Disney Media Networks, and Integrated Marketing. Collaborate with the Marketing teams of key licensees to maximize campaign reach, impact, and marketing investment.
  • Information & Materials Management: Provide timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all required documentation and materials are available to support new product lines, launches, and promotional programs.
  • Creative & Agency Management: Work closely with the Creative team and lead campaign briefings with agencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in compliance with Disney guidelines, quality standards, and brand requirements at retail. Ensure consistency and effective integration across on-air, print, digital, social, and in-store touchpoints, and manage necessary approvals before campaign launch.
  • Stakeholder & Partner Management: Build and cultivate strong working relationships across the Company and with external partners to maximize the visibility and communication of promotional initiatives and drive Disney sales.
  • Innovation & Market Trends: Bring new thinking and innovation to the team by staying up to date with technological developments, consumer trends, and emerging marketing and retail trends. Identify and propose innovative activations and new opportunities to bring Disney franchises to life at retail.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Strategic, Commercial & Consumer Focus: Ability to translate business and franchise strategies, consumer behaviour, market insights and evolving retail trends into impactful marketing initiatives that drive sales, deliver measurable results and connect consumers with Disney franchises.
  • Stakeholder Management, Communication & Influence: Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across internal teams, Lines of Business, licensees, agencies, retailers and external partners; clearly articulate ideas, influence stakeholders and adapt communication for different audiences and levels of seniority.
  • Project Management, Agility & Attention to Detail: Highly organised, results-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities while ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets and in line with Disney brand guidelines and standards.
  • Creativity, Innovation & Storytelling: Creative and curious mindset, with a genuine passion for Disney brands and franchises and the ability to identify new opportunities, challenge the status quo, and translate brand stories and values into innovative retail experiences and marketing activations.
  • Analytical & Data-driven Approach: Ability to interpret campaign performance, market insights and consumer data, draw actionable conclusions, and use evidence to inform marketing decisions, identify opportunities and optimise future activations.

7+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Retail Marketing, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing or a related field, ideally within a multinational, consumer-focused, licensing or franchise environment; licensing and/or franchise experience within consumer products or retail is highly desirable.

Proven experience developing and executing integrated, commercially focused campaigns across digital, social media, retail, in-store activations, promotions and other consumer touchpoints, supported by strong retail and commercial knowledge of distribution channels, shopper behaviour, product launches, promotional programmes, and product development and go-to-market processes.
