Job summary

Six Senses Quexigal Palace is seeking a Reservation Host who can translate the resort’s renowned hospitality into flawless guest experiences. You will manage daily reservations, answer inquiries within 24 hours, and support rate setting and guest profiles.

Fluency in English and Spanish, solid MS Office skills, and familiarity with PMS, GDS and CRS are essential. You will uphold Six Senses standards, ensure accuracy, and contribute to the brand’s sustainable, locally sensitive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma/degree preferred.

Job description

As Reservation Host, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Run daily reports for Reservation department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing.
• Process new reservations, update and clean up reservations, process advance deposits, answer reservations inbox emails within 24 hours, process reports (No Shows, ORS Comments, Commission, etc.) and other reservation related duties as assigned.
• Assist in all allocation of rooms.
• Check and handle for special requests and hard blocking rooms as needed.
• Contact guests or travel agents to clarify any discrepancies in preferences or requests before guests’ arrival.
• Track future room availabilities based on reservations.
• Monitor and update internet reservation system in coordinate with respected hosts.
• Assist in determine room rates based on the selling tactics of the resort.
• Assist in the management of the guest history and profile system.
• Ensure all reservations daily are completed with all necessary guest information, profile information and rate/market/source codes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Assists in implementing and enforcing departmental policies, procedures and best practices.
• Consistently upholds Six Senses guidelines, operational standards and LQA requirements, using guest feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
• Takes responsibility for the efficient execution of all assigned tasks, maintaining and exceeding individual performance benchmarks.
• Performs any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Reservation Supervisor or/and Reservation Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 years’ experience in a similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including PMS, GDS and CRS platforms. I have knowledge of hotel/resort and policies regarding reservations, discounts, MICE platforms and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; I understand thatadditional languagesare preferred.
• Valid authorization to work in Spain is required. Applicants must hold the appropriate visa and/or work permit where applicable. European visa or valid work permit required.
