Job summary

Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona seeks a Researcher in Comparative Social Policy for the WELFAIR Project. The post is part-time (30 hours/week) and located in Spain, with a fixed-term contract of 31 months. Salary €29,843.71 gross per year.

The successful candidate will conduct fieldwork, analyse data from multiple sources, contribute to reports and journal articles, and disseminate findings through seminars and stakeholder events.

Qualifications

• PhD in Social Sciences or related field is required.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Experience using quantitative and qualitative data analysis software.
• Strong analytical and academic writing skills.
• Ability to work in international and interdisciplinary research environments.
• High level of English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and implementation of the WELFAIR work package led by UAB.
• Conduct fieldwork activities.
• Process and analyse data from fieldwork and secondary sources.
• Contribute to scientific outputs such as reports and journal articles.
• Disseminate research findings.
• Organise seminars and stakeholder engagement activities.
