Job summary

La Universidad de A Coruña busca un/a Investigador/a de Primera Etapa (R1) para apoyar actividades en el proyecto con IA en sistemas energéticos. Contrato temporal a tiempo parcial (17,5 h/semana) con fecha de inicio 01/12/2026.

Se valorará haber obtenido un Grado en Ingeniería Electrónica Industrial y/o un Máster en Informática Industrial y Robótica. Participarás en análisis, redacción de documentos técnicos y reportes de progreso del proyecto.

Qualifications

• Having completed a Degree in Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering, and/or a Master\'s Degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics will be positively valued.

TASK TO PERFORM:

Supporting anomaly detection with AI techniques in energy systems.

Support for the analysis of the state-of-the-art of the main system modeling techniques using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Support for drafting of relevant technical documents to support the preparation of the periodic reports required for project development.

JUSTIFICATION OF THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT:

The duration of the contract is framed within the specific tasks of the project and according to its planning.

Having completed a Degree in Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering, and/or a Master's Degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics will be positively valued.

CRITERIA AND ASSESSMENT OF MERITS:

Having completed a Degree in Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering, and/or a Master's Degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics will be positively valued. The merits claimed by the participants must be documented and fulfilled by the end of the application submission period.

Only merits related to the profile of the position will be assessed. The position will be vacant if no candidate achieves a minimum of 65 points according to the following scale.

A waiting list will be compiled from the non-selected applicants who score above 65 points; this list may be used in the event that a candidate withdraws.

• 1. Required qualification. The average grade of the qualification required to apply for the position will be assessed, up to 25 points (average grade of the degree).
• a) Average grade of the academic record: 10– 25 points
• b) Average grade of the academic record: 9– 22,5 points
• c) Average grade of the academic record: 8– 20 points
• d) Average grade of the academic record: 7– 17,5 points
• e) Average grade of the academic record: 6– 15 points
• f ) Average grade of the academic record: 5– 12,5 points
• If the qualification provided is a Degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering, it will be assessed in its entirety. If it belongs to any other field, it will be assessed with 5% of the qualification obtained according to its average grade.
• 2. Additional specific training related to the specific profile for which the applicant is applying: up to 15 points.
• a) Master's degrees: up to 15 points per master's degree, depending on the grade in the academic record and the relevance of the degree to the position.
• b) Courses related to the position profile: 1 point for every 50 hours (maximum 5 points per course).
• 3. Knowledge of the English language: up to 10 points.
• 4. Specific professional experience: up to 10 points. 1 point per month in positions related to the position.
• 5. Research experience in projects: up to 15 points.
• a) Previous experience in the development of R&D projects in the field of the contract object: 5 points per European project, 4 national and 3 regional (up to 10 points).
• 6. Personal interview: the suitability of the CV to the job will be assessed. Up to 25 points.
• Candidates with the highest scores in the above items and who have obtained at least 40 points will be interviewed (only the first three candidates). Failure to appear for the interview will result in the exclusion of the candidate invited. Candidates will be invited for the interview at least 48 hours in advance.
