LOCATION AND OPENING HOURS: CITIC, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
The Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) comprises more than 300 researchers.
As part of the Network of Research Centres within the Galician University System, it provides research staff with high-performance and specialised computing infrastructure that facilitates the execution of projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science and engineering, high-performance computing, smart services and networks, and cybersecurity.
The centre is equipped with unique laboratories, such as the technology demonstrator and the virtual reality and robotics laboratories, where prototypes or the results of research projects can be showcased, serving as a platform to highlight the R&D&I capabilities of the various research teams.
CITIC carries out activities to support the dissemination of research, promotes the 'Talentos Inclusivos' citizen science project and the Erasmus+ EDIGIT project, and organises the annual XoveTIC Conference, amongst other initiatives to promote the centre.
This vacancy seeks a candidate with a profile suited to managing and driving forward educational, inclusive and European projects linked to CITIC, with the ability to coordinate activities, partners, educational institutions and collaborating organisations.
We are looking for someone with experience in organising outreach activities, the social transfer of knowledge, citizen science and events, as well as in producing accessible materials, presentations, reports and training resources.
Master's degree in the field of communication or equivalent to MECES level 3.
The requirements must have been met by the deadline for submitting applications.
On the closing date for applications and throughout the term of the contract, applicants must meet and continue to meet the requirements set out in Article 8 of the Regulations on the Recruitment of Contract Staff, Chapter 6, relating to research and knowledge transfer projects, grants and agreements.

Funding for the contract may be provided, in whole or in part, by any other project or grant associated with the Research Line, even prior to the end of the initial months, provided that adequate and sufficient funding is available.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 of Instruction ******, of 17 March ****, issued by the Vice‑Rectorate for Research and Transfer, regulating the registration of research and strategic lines and the recruitment of research staff funded from such lines, the validity of this permanent contract is subject to the continued need of the tasks and the existence of adequate and sufficient funding within the research line.
The exhaustion of the funding allocated to the line, or the completion of the technical activities justifying the post without the possibility of redeployment, shall constitute objective grounds for termination of the contract (Article 52(e) of the Workers' Statute).
