Digital Mindset and Digital Density -Success of digital transformation depends on the organization's leadership. Yet, our understanding of the critical leadership competencies and management structures requires for success in the high digital density world remains scant.
The purpose of this study, therefore, will be shed ligh on this issue.
Digital Transformation of Sectors – Analyze how different industries are transitioning from traditional linear value chains to new ecosystems (value networks) comprised of both incumbents and insurgents seeking to leverage affordances of Digital Density. Over the next academic year, we plan to continue investigation of this process across different industries to publish new research papers and teaching cases.
PHYGITAL – Exploring the AI–Physical Nexus – In addition, this research will connect to the development of PHYGITAL, a new MBA elective on the convergence of AI, digital technologies, and the physical world. The course examines how infrastructures, AI models, and applications like robotics, digital twins, and simulations reshape organizations and industries, and addresses ethical, regulatory, and future-of-work challenges. The RA will support research and teaching materials for this course, literature reviews, and content development.
